Jefferson National Forest hiking trails in Wythe County: Cannel Rock Trail, Crawfish Trail, Monster Rock, Polecat Trail, Seven Sisters Trail, Stony Fork Nature Trail and Tract Fork Trail. The New River Trail State Park enters Wythe County on the southern border and continues north, alongside the New River, passed the Shot Tower State park, to the eastern border of the county.
